Thanks to speech therapy and a lot of work J-man is starting to speak more and more.
I love the way he talks - it makes me laugh. Often if he wants to talk to you about something ie. preschool, his boo boo he will ask you the question first - prompting you about what to ask.
J : Di you have fun at pweeschoo to today?
Me: Did you have fun at preschool today?
J - Nodding his head : Show Edward today
Me : You showed Edward for show and tell?
J- nods : ajakvagl kaglerfi dfadj asdf a (bunch of gibberish with a few words thrown in like his aids name, and the word snack)
J - crying and holding his hand or foot or head : Di you got boo boo?
Me: Do you have a boo boo?
J - wide open mouth cry that nearly makes your ears ring : I got boo boo
Me : Where is the boo boo?
J: Fingay
Me : On your finger?
J nods
We don't have R's yet so words like preschool sound very cute. J-man also often drops the last letter off the word too - which frustrates his therapist but sounds pretty darn cute.
