Look at me(I'm Sandra D)

Okay not really as I am neither blond, nor interested in John Travolta but whoooweeee I am famous. I woke this morning to a comment from Nathan(our friend at Method Lust) saying he had posted a link to a post I had done on here to his site.

I feel so special...so Sally Fields(you like me, you really like me!)

Definitely a good way to start Wednesday!

Also a reminder that I haven't done a review on anything in quite a while...and I have been one busy girl in the Target!! I have purchased several of the baby/kid line products and also have the complete bathroom line so it is up to you(or the 2 people who read my blog these days!) Which one - baby/kids or bathroom line?? First comment wins the draw!

Re-entry

I am back in the land of smarties, chesterfields(spelling??), maple syrup, and poutine. Back where sales people are polite(I know there must be some polite ones in the US but I didn't have any!) and the trees and fields are green although stinky.

I am back home and loving having my own space and especially my own bed. When you plan a holiday you are so excited to go. The at about day 10 I crave home. My own space where everything is mine!

Re-entry as my family calls it. Getting everything back to normal. Ahhh I think I need another holiday. Getting back to cooking and cleaning rather than eating out and having someone else look after the towels and bedding. The kids are used to people playing with them constantly and J-man is used to being spoiled by the grandparents and aunties. We have had a few tantrums to celebrate our home coming. G is trying to figure out when nap time is and how to fall asleep when she is on her own in a crib rather than a car seat or someones arms.

I am up to my armpits in laundry and chaos. Ry goes back to work tomorrow and I will have to start finding my rhythm again as a mom. Yikes - they will out number me again!

For those following our travels - I am sorry that I haven't posted much. Tomorrow I am going to spend an hour getting some of it documented so look for another post sometime in the afternoon. I have hundreds of photos to go through - remember when we had film cameras and taking 3 rolls on vacation seemed like sooo much?

Bond with this???

Is it possible to have too much of a good thing?

Yes - too much alcohol, too much fat, too much chocolate(okay bad example). You get the drift. But can you have too much family?

I am currently on vacation with the entire family. And I mean entire. Not a man, woman or child was left behind. Children, spouses and significant others were dragged, some against their will up to the mountains of Colorado. We have divided up into 3 living units and the tensions are high after 4 days of all this family fun(insert sarcastic tone here).

Now the question isn't about loving our family members, as that is a given. Once you enter into the "sisterhood" it is like a contract with no escape clause. Which has its wonderful moments and then there are the moments where you are one minute away from packing up your clothes and heading to Boise!

Some people can be around their families all the time and never want to back hand them - this group not so much. Perhaps it is because we are all so different. We are all diverse in our beliefs, life goals, ethics and morals. While this can lead to some interesting conversations it can also result in some rather cranky people after a few days.

So perhaps it isn't too much it is just too close. My darling, patient as a saint, husband has already said "next time we get our own unit" So that is the plan! Love from a distance! Where everyone has their own time out corner!
