Hip Hip Hooray

Apparently when the hippos take a poo they whip their tails around so that it flies everywhere. Think of throwing a load of poo into a fast moving fan! Several years ago my mother in law almost got hit in a poo shower - a few other tourists got it instead. Sometimes it pays to be in the back! The zoo staff warned us that there had been no back door action yet so we made sure to stand back!
