My parents FINALLY bought a DVD player recently. So being the techno newbies I set it up for them and explained how it works (yes Mom you do have to turn the TV on!)
So they decided to step up to the plate and rent a DVD. They got home, managed to get the TV and DVD player both on and the DVD playing. Now as could only happen to my family – the DVD will only play in French.
So my mom calls the rental place and tells them that she accidentally rented a French version of the DVD and she would like to come and get the English version. The store clerk (while trying not to laugh) informed my mom it was a setting on the DVD player not the DVD. LOL!
